Likes and Dislikes

Likes and dislikes vary with the individual, 
but we all have them. Some are realistic and reasonable, 
I dislike the fact that some can border on the absurd.

To begin with !

I like ( love ) Critters, all kinds!

" Cats "
I especially enjoy cats! ( Big & Small ).
They possess a psychic sense, 
as anyone who has been lucky enough to be 
owned by a cat, will tell you.

The other Cats that have touched my life 
profoundly and indelibly, Tiger, Purr, Grey, 
Little Bit, Tomasina, Impy, 
& sweet Tux.

 " Wild & Wonderful Horses "
( wild, purebreds and thoroughbreds )

They are a beauty and wonder to behold, 
and you can feel their awesome power 
when one allows you to mount them.

My Pudgy, Lightening, Brandy and, Apache, 
who saved my butt more than once.

I am mesmerized by " Birds of Prey ".
They are so in tune with their environment, 
and more crucial to our survival then many realize.
 Master Falconers will tell you, while you can train 
a Falcon, Hawk, Eagle, etc., there is no guarantee when you fly them, 
that they will return to you.

We will discuss Atalanta, Josua and, Mariah.
 ( Mariah like the wind )

" Dogs "

They tolerate so much from we humans, 
and are in so many ways, 
a reflection of our inner selves.

Lady, Heidi, Heidi2, Blaze, Pupper, Pasha and 
her daughter Demi, Shauna and her 10 pups, 
especially, Snooker and Tigger.  
"Rusty" the pit bull, who acted more like 
"Ferdinand the Bull".

The wonderful three, ( deserted by their original owners ) 
that are kind enough to share their space with us 
( Freesee, Jesse and Jake ), who exercise patience 
as we attempt to get far from the maddening crowd!  

We have a new arrival, Monkie, or Monk as I call her. 
A wise, adorable lover! We found her 
running around outside our studio.  
Her story is most special!

" The Sea "

I possess a deep Emotional Connection to the "Sea" 
and all that are fortunate enough 
to dwell within her watery depths.

Whales and Dolphins touch the strings and fascinate me.
My first love, if I had the choice of a place to live, 
would be the "Sea". I think of her as 
Sanctuary!

" Glorious Mountains "

 I literally get "high" at high elevations, & profoundly understand

  John Denver's "Rocky Mountain High"

I am passionate about the "BLACK HILLS" 
and in awe of the "ROCKIES"! You have an opportunity 
to feel closer to the heavens and partake in its special tranquility, 
as It freely shares with you the sweet aroma of pine, 
the quaking of aspen, and oh my, the trails that you can blaze, 
where, if you are respectful, you may get lucky 
and encounter the 
sovereign spirits that live there.

   " The Perpetual Desert "  

I have lived on the "Desert" a great portion of my life, 
ridden my horses far and wide, in and out of washes, 
and I've run into, among other things, many a "Sidewinder", 
Rattle Snakes too! 
The "Desert" offers much via its own individualism. 
It has style! It supports a large 
and interesting ecosystem. 
It too has found a special place 
in my heart.
